If you’ve been eager to enjoy Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 online on your Steam Deck but faced connectivity issues, there’s good news on the horizon! Proton has rolled out a hotfix to address this, ensuring players can now seamlessly connect and enjoy the game’s online features. This update was shared by Pierre-Loup Griffais on Twitter.

Once you’re on your Steam Deck (outside the game), the fix should automatically download. This will enable you to dive into online multiplayer and also use the Create-a-Park feature to explore parks crafted by other players.

Though a full review is still in the works, I’ve shared some initial thoughts on the game. Overall, it offers a smooth gameplay experience, with only occasional slowdowns on expansive maps. The game does have a persistent online requirement, which hasn’t been circumvented yet, but it’s still a treat to play.
