My Steam deck(512) is on the official Dock and I'm using an innocn oled 15.6 display.
I have windows on 128gb micro SD and I mainly intend using it for my emails(i hate using phones), YouTube, BitChute, Brandnewtube,Odysee, etc. I also have it synced to Chrome where i have loads of bookmarks, to too many sites and subjects to remember. Also I have many games that either don't work on Steam OS or don't work properly, and I stream films from Amazon Prime, I also have a 2 1/2 inch 256 SSD which I can access from windows. So far I am more than happy with windows on Steam Deck BUT i only installed it yesterday so I havent fully tested it yet.
SO Should I move windows into my internal SSD and dual boot or get a larger micro SD(512gb or 1 tb) and keep the windows stuff entirely separate?
Just so you know where I am going here, I also have a gaming PC and a 35 inch monitor and it use's so much energy I don't need any heating on cold days, wheras the Steam deck setup can be run on power banks, especially good for when the inevitable power cuts come. And After the huge price scalping of GPU's over the last two years I have decided to downsize and only use my gaming PC for VR or really demanding games.
