I'm probably not going to get a docking station, unless Valve ultimately comes up with something really cool, and I just can't resist the wow factor. Having said that, if I was also going to use my Steam Deck as a PC, I'd definitely be looking for something that acted as a stand as well so I'd have the option of using it as a secondary screen. Here's a few I found with a quick Amazon search:

I never need usb c hub/dock (I mean not usb c to multiple something).
I usually only bought usbc converter to something I need, like usb c to hdmi, usb c to lan plug, usb c to micro usb, or usb c to usb A. I have those everywhere in my house, I rarely used them, but still handy to have them when I need it, IF I could find it XD

Similar to me.
I have one tiny little hub with USB ports and an HDMI out that I use for travel, then a collection of adapters as you mentioned. I keep them all in a small-ish neoprene pouch to grab for weekend trips. For my work laptops, I have the traditional big-ol-docking stations for connecting to multiple monitors and other attachments, but those would be an ugly solution for the Steam Deck.
I guess I will buy an USB-C Dock to use it also as an Desktop .. I´m just curious about how this handles on a Monitor (or TV) ..
