The Deck does not cease to impress me

I mean ok, the game is from 2005 and it is of course due to the developer to bring such an advanced game to the market back then, which in parts even makes today's AAA titles look old.

But the fact that a game like this runs at rocksolid 40hz on a mobile device with under 8watts of power consumption is amazing.

This game didn't run as good as this on my main PC back in the days.

While we're at it, I'd like to take a shine to games that really put effort into parts of their engine to stand out, like the water with its' disortions and reflections in F.E.A.R.

Can you think of other examples where you thought - "wow this looks and feels amazing" while playing on the Deck?

wait this is F.E.A.R?
I have to admit, few years ago fear looked a bit dated to me but was somehow amazing with the time slow mechanic too. not to mention the story. 😁

also I remember what stood out to me was some of the physics like wall craters. 😉
