It's funny, I bought NMS the day it came out, I had no console at the time and bought a PS4 just to play it on because I'm a massive fan of the band that did the soundtrack, 65daysofstatic.

I went through all the nightmare with the game being godawful on release and put it down and haven't touched it again in 8 years (yup 2016 is when it came out...).

8 years later, a move to PS5, thousands of updates and I've finally started getting into it. lol

Looking forward to either getting it on Steam or just playing it via Chiaki!

To be fair its 6 years 😎

I have to check it on Deck how it runs, but i remember how I was blown away by the very first trailer in combination with the (now) iconic track from 65daysofstatic ... it was the perfect fusion of both that sold it to me, creating excitement und curiousity on the spot.

Despite the initial drama they really delivered over the years.

Oh wow. I can't do maths...

Yeah I've really got into it in the last few weeks, I found it too dense before and the tutorial parts weren't that well fleshed out (I'm also not a big fan of survival crafting games with some exceptions) but found that the introduction is much better now, and yeah, they really delivered.

Yeah, it's good now, and of course they delivered, if they didn't, then they would never recover from all that bad rep. 😂
The things that hype does sometimes. And bad management.

yeah, how time flies when you're having fun not playing the game, but waited for it to get better while you played other great games.
same thing is happening to cyberpunk2077 tho. 🤣
