So these little sliders will make the difference between ~2 and ~6 hours of gameplay I am so excited!

And this seems to me to be a really easy way to limit the framerate without having to search for the appropriate entry in every single menu for every game.

Portal 2 running at 30 fps is expected to be playable for six hours before a recharge is required (or four hours without the frame rate limit)

I don't recall if it was Digital Foundry or TheTerk, but one of them was demonstrating how effectively implementing FSR boosted FPS while maintaining good graphical detail. All of these tools combined should indeed allow for a very broad range of games to be comfortably enjoyed on the Deck.

I don't know if any of these demonstrations will hold any ground with the hardware not being 1:1 with the Deck, you can pull parallels but we should treat these findings with a grain of salt before jumping onto the next hypetrain

I think Valve nailed it by implementing these settings. I don’t know enough about these kind of handheld PCs to say if these GPU tweaks are standard or not, but I sure would like to have them on my laptop.
