I missed my chance to order the Steam deck

Hey,

So... I got my invitation to buy my steam deck, which I first saw on a Sunday evening around 09pm.
The invitation was on steam with the warning "you have an account alert" obviously I immediately thought.
OMG!!! it's finally here!!!.
But alas.
I was first greeted by "Your Steam Deck reservation expires in less than a minute", which redirected me to the reservation page.
On the reservation page was only the option to cancel my order.
In panic I searched in my mailbox for something from steam what I did daily for the last couple of months, but couldn't because of night shifts and home renovations.
I found the e-mail and also redirected me to the reservation page, which didn't showed anything different.
Then I knew that the nightmare was reality.
"I missed my chance to order the Steam deck"
I saw that the e-mail was send Thursday evening around 07pm and said that my reservation would be canceled on Sunday around 07pm.

I just send a message to steam support and hope they may want to help me.

For the people that are still waiting for there Steam deck,
DON'T THINK THREE DAYS IS LONG, it's over before you know it!
And check your steam and e-mail daily.
I just don't want any other person to also miss their chance.

I hope this fits in this thread and that I didn't make any spellings errors (English isn't my first language).

This morning I received a massage from steam support, which was indeed really supportive.
Steam support said that they would sent me another invite, which I immediately received and opened.
So I'm proud to say that I'm a soon to be owner of a Steam deck!!!

I'm close to having anxiety dreams about this situation. Glad support were able to clear it up for you!!!

Congrats on the good support experience.

Mine has been anything but:
I had to wait a month and a half for them to resend the package with the Steam Deck (first one had stopped at the first GLS center...)
In the meantime, my ticket had been closed automatically (with no notification) while I was waiting for them to update me on the situation...

Anyway, I hope you receive yours without any complications :D
