I haven't gamed on Windows since 2019. My suggestion is people take this opportunity to learn to use something different instead of relying on Redmond's junk software. Instead of workarounds for windows, learn new ones.

Comon guys. It's apparent we have some folks on the board who are very anti-windows. Fair enough. But I think we'd all benefit from a little less vitriol -- at least in the dedicated Windows section where there will be some folks who may wish to talk about dual booting and other related topics without having to hear their choices disparaged.

It's not vitriol. It's not even hate. I don't know if you noticed, but over time Windows has been growing more onerous. What bothers me is that people just assume that windows would be better to run on the steam deck than Steam OS. But that's not true anymore. To be honest, the vitriol can come from the other side just as easily, and it often does.
