Steam deck uses grub2 as its boot loader. i would like to enable the grub menu, timeout, and selection features of grub2 just as one would on a traditional computer. i want this so that i may experiment with running my own custom kernels within SteamOS and be able to select which one boots very easily.
i have gotten as far as getting the grub menu to show, but i cannot get it to read the touchscreen, or any of deck's buttons as inputs. nor have i been able to get the autoboot timer to work. this makes grub2 totally unusable. my google-fu is failing me.
anybody found a way to use grub2 without requiring external keyboard?
