Desktop mode as a standard Linux distro?

Hi fam!

New here and props to everyone.

I have read SteamOs can be used as a Linux distro but every time it updates the system it resets the partition or something like that, so if I've any other software installed it gets wiped out. Does HoloISO have the same problem or can be also used as a normal distro for current daily use and development work?

hey there, have you found a solution to this yet?

because basically in theory this could definitely work using HoloISO.

Hello, posted the same question in Reddit and the developer (if I remember correctly) told me it can be used as a standard Linux Distro. Still, it did not work ok with my MSI laptop so I'm not using it.
