Chrome not installing

So i attempted to install chrome though non steam on steam deck when i click learn more and then click install chrome it gets stuck on installing chrome i cant open a game or any other software for that matter unless i reboot.

has this happened to you if so how did you guys fix it.

il try that but im wondering if there is a fix for the other way and do you have to enter desktop mode for that?

Yes. You need to run these commands in the terminal.
