With Check My Deck you can easily see your verified, playable and unsupported games from your library.

My yield:

At least I can play some of the games I planned to play from the beginning without hesitation. I'm curious how meaningful this chart is and how many of the unknown games are running fine after all.

So, I'm not going to post a pic of mine because it's so utterly wrong. For instance, out of the box it calls the following "playable".

Tomb Raider 2013
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Tomb Raider Anniversary
Tomb Raider Legend

These are all already verified as working with SteamOS, infact, the latest Tomb Raider series is native to linux. They work out of the box.

The following, inexplicably, are listed as "unknown".

BallisticNG
Counterstrike: Source
Half Life 2
Half Life 2 Episode 1
Half Life 2 Episode 2
Black Mesa
Portal
Half Life Lost Coast
Half Life 2 Update
Sega Mega Drive Classics

This isn't even an exhaustive list, but all of these, also, are native to SteamOS and linux in general already. They are listed IN STEAM as ready for SteamOS and have been for years. In fact, I've run each of them on other hardware and they run just fine out of the box.

For anyone who's keeping track, the number one linux title selling today is... Dead Cells. That's the power that steam has. Valve included that game in their press releases to show indie developers and gamers they love. And it's not even on sale.

I assume that all these titles will follow. Just because the games run on Linux doesn't mean they are perfectly playable on the Deck. Maybe controls or font sizes have to be adjusted. A few days ago Half Life 2 got a beta update which includes a console friendly U.I. and yet HL2 is still "Unknown".
But perhaps this is a hint at an upcoming Nintendo Switch release now that Portal 1 & 2 are also coming to the Switch.
It will simply take time for all the big games to be listed. I've read that Valve goes by the games and wish lists of people who have reserved a deck and prioritize accordingly.

I'm at 10% today, there are like 20 games being validated per day right now.

But now its time to play the classics :D

Dang I don't have a lot of games compared to you guys so far. I'm planning on getting more once I get my deck though lol. I get stuck on certain games and play them till they get boring to me.

If you have fun, then why not :D I for example gathered too many games over the last 18 years in Steam, especially due to the early Steam Sales which have been really insane .. also Humble Bundles ^^

When I look at all the games ... I need to retire early :D

I wouldn't put too much stock in this. As it stands there are tons of games that will already work whether they are on the list or not.
