Boots into blank bios screen

Upon booting into my usb drive with Holo flashed via Rufus in DD mode, I am presented with a blank (black) bios screen. Is there a solution? Thanks.

ugh, that probably sucks quite a bit.
hopefully someone can help you out if you provide more details.
