Black screen after installation

I have installed the os on a intel pc using the intigrated graphics card. The installation went without any issues and after restarting and booting off grub I landed into a black screen.
What did I miss here? Any suggestions??

this seems to be happening to a few other people too, are you using HoloISO?

yes, it is a fresh install. Let me know where to look for error logs, I know how to use vim.

Same issue, it worked on my HP Laptop but when I install it on my other Dell 7560...SteamOS after install sits at a black prompt with white cursor.

Probably unsupported hardware
