On Steam Deck, I’ve been playing a lot of Vampire Survivors recently, as well as Mass Effect Andromeda, Ducktales, and Life Is Strange: True Colors. Love this mighty little handheld.

Congrats on the 500 members!

I've been using Deck for playing God of War and watching media via the Jellyfin app whilst connected to a monitor/Steam link+TV.

Forza Horizon 5. I'm not used to using analog triggers to drive (NFS Underground 2 for PS2 anyone? Right analog for gas/brake. This worked really well in FH4)

I mostly use Keyboard/Mouse for games but FH5 on the Steam Deck has been a great opportunity to learn how to use the analog triggers.

I've been playing Cult of the Lamb and Have a Nice Death, along with trying every game in my library - just to see if it works.

I literally just came home today after playing full 4 player setup couch-gaming with the buddies for 3 hours on the steam deck.

Mostly i play It Takes Two, Slay the Spire. And btw, for a local multiplayer experience, I can personally recommend Pico Park, it is hilarious a.f. when you have friends that laugh when they fail for the 20'th time in attempting to jump past a button that you are not allowed to press which results in a restart of the level.

Oh that's interesting - I remember back on PS2 we could choose either the analog sticks or the analog buttons for gas/brake.
You've got me interested - maybe you could do something about it with the customization of the steam input in case of FHorizon 5?
But I still love the analog triggers from the Dreamcast best :D

As for the games that I've been playing:

Tales of Zestiria - finally got around to starting another Tales (Xillia 2 kind of made me tired of the series). I love the fact that there gamespeed is attached to the framerate - it makes the walking animation (which is super important for my immersion) look good at half-speed, sure everything else is in slow-mo, but the sound is OK and the facial animations are synced to the voice over (only JP ofc :D).

Another game that poped out of nowhere (actually I saw it in one of the FanTheDeck videos on YT):

Lunistice - a cool old-school-like 3d character platformer. Just pure gameplay. what a gem for the first 2-4 levels, then it gets ridiculous (like the 32bit era games often were) with the level design and I get confused about where to go to get to the end of the stage. And it's cheap to boot :D

Oh yeah @Compi - the christmass theme is awesome - thank you for doing this (or anyone else that did - I haven't been here in a good while since getting the Steam Deck - sorry ;( )
